September 2019 - Honduras Medical Mission Trip
Honduras September 2019: Medical
September 4-8, 2019
A small group of healthcare providers and laypersons will work with our local physician, Dr. Jorge Ponce, to provide medical care and spiritual support to the communities outside of Cofradia, Honduras. We will provide acute medical care, chronic disease management, and physical therapy to approximately 600 patients in three of the 20 communities overseen by our in-country physician. We look forward to supporting local church leaders and continuing to provide longitudinal care for needy families with whom we have built long-term relationships.
A trip with Luke 9:2 Ministries presents an opportunity to make a long-term impact on both the physical and spiritual health of the people of Honduras. We are currently looking for healthcare providers (physician, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, physical therapist, pharmacist) to complete our team of volunteers. If you have questions, please email us at [email protected].
