Honduras September 2026: Medical/Dental

September 5-10, 2026

A group of healthcare providers and laypersons will work with our in-country physician, Dr. Jorge Ponce, a team of local physician volunteers, and our local dentist, Dr. Elias, to provide care and spiritual support to the rural communities of Honduras.  We will provide acute medical care, chronic disease management, dental services, and medications to patients in three of the 20 communities overseen by our in-country physician.  We look forward to supporting local church leaders and continuing to provide longitudinal care for families with whom we have built long-term relationships.

A trip with Luke 9:2 Ministries presents an opportunity to make a long-term impact on both the physical and spiritual health of the people of Honduras.  We are currently looking for healthcare providers (physician, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, dentist, physical therapist, pharmacist, counselor, psychologist) as well as interested laypersons to complete our team of volunteers.  If you have questions, please email us at [email protected].
