Honduras January 2024: Medical/Dental

January 20-27, 2024

A large group of healthcare providers, dentists, teachers and laypersons will work with our local physician, Dr. Jorge Ponce, and our local dentist, Dr. Elias, to provide care and spiritual support to the rural communities of Honduras.  We will provide acute medical care, chronic disease management, dental services, medications, and eyeglasses to approximately 2,000 patients in five of the 21 communities overseen by our in-country physician.  We look forward to supporting local church leaders and continuing to provide longitudinal care for needy families with whom we have built long-term relationships.

A trip with Luke 9:2 Ministries presents an opportunity to make a long-term impact on both the physical and spiritual health of the people of Honduras.  We are currently looking for healthcare providers (physician, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, dentist, physical therapist, pharmacist, optometrist, counselor, psychologist) as well as interested laypersons to complete our team of volunteers.  If you have questions, please email us at [email protected].
